Abstract

This article analyzes the formation, stages of development, and the role of terminology within the national language system in the context of the language policy implemented during the еars of independent Uzbekistan. The study examines the issues of creating new terms, adopting foreign terminology, and nationalizing terms in the process of strengthening the status of the state language. It also considers the legal and regulatory foundations of terminology, mechanisms for regulating terminology, and the problems encountered in practice.
