PERIODIZED STRETCHING INTEGRATION IN TAEKWONDO MACROCYCLES: ENHANCING STRIKING VELOCITY AND RANGE OF MOTION

Abstract

 In modern taekwondo, the effectiveness of a match depends on the ability to deliver high and fast strikes to the electronic refereeing system (PSS). However, traditional chaotic stretching often reduces the explosive power of the muscles. This article proposes a scientifically grounded system for integrating various types of stretching into the 24-week training macrocycle of fighters.
