THE LABOR MARKET IN UZBEKISTAN AND THE PROCESS OF REPRODUCING THE WORKFORCE IN IT
Abstract
This article examines the characteristics of the labor market in Uzbekistan and analyzes the process of labor force reproduction within the context of ongoing socio-economic transformations. The study explores the structural features of employment, labor supply and demand dynamics, and the role of demographic factors in shaping the workforce. Particular attention is given to the mechanisms that ensure the continuous renewal and development of human capital, including education systems, vocational training, healthcare, and migration processes. Based on theoretical approaches and recent statistical trends, the paper proposes policy recommendations aimed at improving labor market stability, enhancing workforce quality, and supporting sustainable economic growth in Uzbekistan.
