Abstract

 this article reviews recent developments in English language teaching, highlighting the shift from traditional methods to learner-centered and technology-enhanced approaches. It focuses on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in personalizing learning, improving feedback, and creating immersive experiences. The article also discusses challenges such as teacher readiness, access inequality, and ethical concerns. While AI enhances motivation and proficiency, it emphasizes the continued importance of human interaction in language learning. Future efforts should aim to ensure equitable access, provide teacher training, and address ethical issues in AI integration.
