Abstract

 This article analyzes the national legislative framework for social protection of victims of violence, mechanisms for ensuring their rights and freedoms, the activities of state bodies and social institutions in this area. It also discusses the current legislative documents on the prevention of violence, assistance to victims and their rehabilitation, and their practical significance.
