Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of the concept of discourse, its multidimensional nature, as well as the semiotic and socio-cultural characteristics of political discourse. Based on the views of scholars, the linguistic and extralinguistic components of discourse are examined. In addition, the virtual model of political discourse and its relationship with text, context, and intention are explored.
