Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the historical origin, formation and semantic features of toponyms in Northern Afghanistan. Representatives of various nationalities have lived in this region since ancient times, including: Turkic peoples, who have used toponyms characteristic of their language and have been expressing them to this day.
