INTERPRETATION AND DISCOURSE ANALYSIS IN CONTEMPORARY LITERARY STUDIES: FROM MEANING TO POWER AND NEW TRENDS

Abstract

In contemporary literary studies, the process of understanding texts has become increasingly complex and multidimensional. Traditional approaches that focused solely on the author’s intention have gradually been replaced by more dynamic perspectives that emphasize the role of the reader, language, and social context. Among the most influential approaches in this transformation are interpretation and Discourse Analysis.
