Abstract

This article examines the social activities of Alisher Navoi based on Hamid Olimjon’s views in Navoi studies. The author interprets Navoi not only as a great poet, but also as a just statesman and a thinker who served for the development of society and the welfare of the people. Through the analysis of the works “Vaqfiya” and “Mahbub ul-Qulub”, the poet’s socio-political views are revealed.
