Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of sports terminology in world linguistics, and it systematically covers the current state of the study of sports terminology, the main scientific trends, methodological approaches, and relevant issues. The article aims to reveal the dynamic role of language in society, emphasizing the place of sports terminology in professional communication, social integration, and cultural interaction.
