THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF PLAY ACTIVITY IN THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

Abstract

This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the psychological significance of play activity in the personal development of preschool children. The impact of play activity on the formation of children’s cognitive processes, emotional-volitional state, and social relationships is revealed. In addition, the role of play as the leading activity in preschool age and its importance in the formation of a child’s personality is substantiated.
