Abstract

Sialoadenitis is an inflammatory process in the salivary glands, which is accompanied by characteristic signs in the form of facial swelling, redness of the mucous membrane, soreness when touching the area of localization of pathology. In the absence of medical care, it can cause a purulent process, the development of a tumor and sclerosis of the affected salivary gland.
