Abstract

This article analyzes the role of Uzbek folk tales in child upbringing based on national customs and values. It emphasizes that folk tales serve as an important tool in shaping the moral and spiritual qualities of the younger generation, as illustrated through various examples. The findings of the study demonstrate that folk tales play a significant role in children's personal development and in fostering qualities such as honesty, diligence, respect for parents and elders, patriotism, and loyalty. They effectively contribute to strengthening national values and possess strong educational potential. The article concludes by highlighting the pedagogical importance of integrating folk tales into the upbringing process.
