Abstract

The costs of transporting and transmitting green energy are several times higher than other types of electricity. For example, the cost of transmitting wind energy is three times higher than that of transmitting coal-fired electricity. As a rule, this is also due to the fact that green electricity is produced in places very far from where it is consumed. Therefore, due to long distances, the cost of transporting green energy on power transmission lines increases significantly.
